Membership Types

  • 6-Bottle Locker $400 + tax
  • 12-Bottle Locker $700 + tax

    To maintain your membership, simply purchase 24 bottles of wine within the membership year (December 1 - November 30) and participate in a minimum of 2 events per year.

The 1818 Chophouse wine locker membership was curated to offer a more personalized wine purchasing experience both inside and outside of the restaurant for our valued customers. The wine locker membership is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow wine enthusiasts who share your passion. We love bringing people together, whether it’s over a glass of exquisite wine or while discussing the latest finds. Whether you’re purchasing a bottle for your own enjoyment or selecting an amazing gift for a loved one, our wine locker membership enhances your experience and fosters connections within our vibrant small town community of wine lovers. Additional perks such as wine tastings, a bring-a-bottle night, monthly newsletters, and specials make this much more than just a membership; it has created a family that loves to come together and talk wine.

6-Bottle Locker $400 + tax
 12-Bottle Locker $700 + tax

To maintain your membership, simply purchase 24 bottles of wine within the membership year (December 1 – November 30) and participate in a minimum of 2 events per year.

We only require that you purchase 24 bottles of wine per year from us. You may keep a portion of those wines, or you may bring some of your favorite wines from your personal cellar to have available in your locker.

At this time, spirits are not permitted to be stored in wine lockers.

While most members display their name or business name, others have chosen nicknames or sayings for their plaques. It is your choice how to personalize your locker; however, 1818 Chophouse reserves the right to approve or deny any content to be displayed.

As part of our monthly emails, we will be informing participants of our wine discounts and offers.

Wine locker members receive 20% off all bottles of wine purchased during their dining visit and during regular hours of operation. Wine locker members will also receive 50% off House Wine by the glass or bottle during their dining visits. The best value for wine purchasing is available on cases of wine purchased through member tastings or ordering through the restaurant. 

Absolutely! If it is available from one of our distributors, we can certainly source that wine for you. If it is not available from our distributors, we may be able to find a source from which you can purchase it, and we will pass that information to you. Unfortunately, we are only able to buy from distributors, but we may be able to point you in the right direction!

Members can access their wine locker during hours of operation:

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

We are happy to help you source and find wines that fit your palate via our Member Tastings or personal consultations. We are here for you! 

This is an annual membership, and no refunds will be processed for early cancellations. If you choose not to renew or cancel your membership, you will need to send your request via email to 1818 Chophouse’s wine director.

I never thought I would have gotten such great value in becoming a wine locker member. The wine locker membership is a much better experience and value than belonging to an online wine club. Megan and Dave are amazing at selecting and suggesting unique wines to enjoy at 1818 and at home. The wine tastings provide an opportunity to sample a variety of wines at different price points, get an interesting explanation of the wine's origin, and a great value for the wines you purchase (plus the heavy apps at the tastings are amazing!).

Having had a wine locker at the O’Fallon location, we were thrilled when Edwardsville started offering lockers. The upfront costs can be easily recouped by drinking your own wine. You get to go to wine tasting events often represented by owners or vintners from that winery. The deals usually offered are tough to pass on. Glad we have one!!
